RAC Software Product Year 2000 Status

At this time the Year 2000 date problem is expected to have little impact on ESPUL, ASP, PRINTPATH/SE and PRINTPATH/NLM.   These  products  do  not  use dates extensively and  where dates are used,  they are stored in the "CALENDAR" operating system internal format which is not impacted by Year 2000 date storage issues.

Presentation and editing of dates has been modified to conform to the specifications and intrinsic support published by HP for MPE and Novell for NetWare.  These modifications are completed as of release 9.1 of  ESPUL.  Please consult the release notes for ESPUL 9.1 and later for details on these modifications.

Release  9.1  is considered the Year 2000 tested release of  ESPUL,  ASP,  PRINTPATH and  PRINTPATH NLMs for NetWare.

Testing has been completed through MPE/iX 7.0 (no patches). If you are using MPE/iX 5.5 Express 4, you will need to install MPE patch MPEKX58 before using ESPUL with the HP3000 system clock set after 12-31-1999.  Please contact the  HP Response Center for this patch.
